Ashley Callaway

– AmeriCorps VISTA –

Hi my name is Ashley Callaway. I was born and raised in North Charleston and graduated from Academic Magnet High School in 2011. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from George Mason University (Fairfax, VA) in 2015.  After graduating, I stayed in the D.C. area and interned at the National Women’s History Museum (NWHM). I continued to do contract work with NWHM when I moved back to Charleston a year ago.  I want to go back to school and get my Master’s in either education or museum studies.  While I study for my GRE I thought it would be good to give back to my community by serving with AmeriCorps VISTA. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my dogs, gardening, and reading books.
