Youth Volunteer Corps
What We Do
We create volunteer opportunities to address community needs in Charleston and to inspire local youth age 11-18 for a lifetime commitment to service.
YVC of Charleston is based out of the City of Charleston’s Mayor’s Office for Children, Youth and Families. The youth of Charleston are our future leaders!
We realize how important it is to get youth involved in the community. Youth volunteers are more likely to continue volunteering as adults and making an impact in their community when they have engaging, positive volunteer experiences.
Not only do YVC of Charleston youth gain a better understanding for their community but they do so while meeting like-minded youth!
We strongly believe that youth are our future and they have the capability of making a difference right now, right here in the Lowcountry!
